A group of children in Bangladesh have brought to us the stories of Lokman, a singer and Shima a flower seller. They are two marginalized children in Bangladesh. Their families depend on them for the daily bread; yet they nurture aspirations to grow big.

  1. THE MAGIC TREE

In Birla Museum we got a chance to watch four beautiful movies, of which I liked The Magic tree and Lokman’s life story the most. The Magic Tree was basically liked by me because it was the story of a magic tree. The rueful song of Lokman touched my heart. He used to earn money by singing. I liked the spirit of the boy who, inspite of being poor, desired to be an educated person and a good singer. By watching the four respective movies, I learned to sacrifice in life in order to gain success.

  2. LOKMAN, A LITTLE BOY

I still remember the child who has a melodious voice. His voice still lingers in my heart. Lokman, the little boy who used to earn money by singing was the one who touched my heart. But on the other hand, I liked his desire for studying more in future. But on seeing that his father is blind, I felt very miserable. He had a sister, who used to also sing along with his brother. All his family members were also included in the earning process.
