- bal vividha is an education fair to celebrate diverse approaches to learning. bal vividha was initiated 10 years ago in Mumbai by Comet Media Foundation, to create a common platform for educationists, teachers, parents, students and education policy makers. This education fair was brought to Kolkata in 2006 and renamed Harekarakamba. The Kolkata fair, Harekarakamba, is a collaboration between Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Comet Media Foundation and Development Research Communication & Services Centre. Bal Chitrapat is a mini film fest at bal vividha, where the visitors are given a taste of films made for children all over the world. This year, (2009), it was decided that the film fest be delinked from the main fair and given a separate identity. We chose to call this festival of movies Shobdo Kolpo Bhrom.
